  2. Hi Dr. Ellie,

I’m Zamir from Malaysia. I would like to ask about teeth healing. I have few small cavities and craze lines. I was affraid to do treatment like scaling as it would make any further damage with those ultrasonic vibration.

I have a question. Does teeth enamel can heal and remineralize from this craze lines and small cavities?.. Will it completely heal using your system?

    • Hi and the answer is definitely yes. Teeth are simply a “mineral bank account” and on a daily basis we make withdrawals of minerals from teeth – so we must be sure we make an equal number of deposits – or hopefully more! This is why xylitol is helpful, stimulating a flow of alkaline saliva to mineralize teeth. Sodium fluoride also can help when topically applied to teeth – and it works in harmony with xylitol to deposit minerals into teeth. Certain foods are useful too. So the answer to your question is that when you mineralize your teeth more than you damage them – they will get stronger and stronger. It’s a simple equation of damage vs. repair.
