Step 1: CLOSYS: Is not available in the UK. RetarDEX/Ultradex is the product that matches most closely.

Step 5: XYLITOL – lots of options! Just be sure to look for products sweetened with only 100% xylitol and because you want to shoot for 5-6 grams per day it is important to know exactly how many grams of xylitol are in the products you are using. For example, if you are using a chewing gum or mint sweetened with xylitol, you will need to find out exactly how much xylitol is in each piece. Don’t be fooled by the nutrition labels — many countries allow manufacturers to round to the nearest gram. So if it says 1 gram of xylitol, it could only be 0.72 grams, which means you’ll need 8-9 pieces to get the 5-6 grams per day (vs 5-6 pieces if the product has exactly 1.0 grams of xylitol). You can also just use xylitol granulated crystals, instead of looking for mints or gum.

There is now a supplier in New Zealand of all the Zellies products. Their website is http://www.healthykiwis.co.nz They are brilliant.
I was so pleased when I found it, as it was going to be near impossible and more than expensive to source the products from overseas.

In Germany, Retardex is available from pharmacies, although I believe it is now being called Ultradex. It is also available in Belgium and still as Retardex. The Alverde Zahnpaste from dm meets the requirements for toothpaste, as does the Alverde Mundspulung for the ACT substitution. Xylitol is available for a good price from amazon.de and regular Listerine is available everywhere.

Are xylitol and the other recommended products available in Israel?
Not that I am aware – but our products are Kosher and we are happy to talk with someone about this possibility.
In the UK, Ultradex Rinse has fluoride. Closys does not. Is this a problem for users in the UK?
The extra fluoride in this product should not be a problem.

In Japan, currently I order Cool Mint Listerine from Amazon Japan, it’s 630 Yen or $5.50 for 1L (search Listerine on amazon.co.jp).
I order Closys and ACT from Amazon US and ship here. Closys is available in 32-oz 2-pack and ACT in 18-oz 6-pack – total for these was $86, of which around $40 for the Closys and $46 for the ACT. You may need a US address/credit card to order from the US. Closys sells on Amazon Japan for $30 a bottle, while I haven’t been able to find ACT.
I order xylitol from iHerb, Xyla sells 1lb bags of “American hardwood” derived xylitol for $8.40 with free shipping on orders over $40.

Hi Hank, It is so hard to advise people in other countries. I prefer to avoid glycerin – based on its apparent interference with mineralization – situations that I have witnessed. We avoid glycerin in Zellie’s gum and mints for this reason – but you may not have a choice. I like the other ingredients in this rinse so please let me know what you think if you decide to use it.
Hello and thank you for all the comments. I have just tried to order Crest toothpaste and Act mouthwash from amazon.uk but got a message saying that they don’t deliver these items to Spain. If anybody knows any equivalent products in Spain (or another source where to order from) kindly let me know via the forum. Thank you in advance.
This is so hard for people in other countries – you can try finding the closest alternatives and will probably get some improvement. The other alternative is to consider a company that ships from the US. It is called myUs.com and many clients order from us and other companies in the US and have their products shipped worldwide.
