I just started your program, and because I am not a proponent of fluoride, I bought a xyletol rise for the last step of rinsing. (I got this information from you book, but now see in the Q and A portion here, you do not advocate using a xyletol rinse) My question is, is it ok to swallow this final rinse with the xyletol, or do you spit it out. Also, what has happened to any of the zyletol products out there? I used to buy a xyletol mint called SMINT, and cannot find it any more. I also thought some readily available sugarless guys contained xyletol, but I see they are now sorbital.
You may want to read through the cliff notes of my book – they describe the system in detail. Here is the link:http://www.drellie.com/pdfs/The-Kissing-System/Complete-Mouth-Care-System-Cliff-Notes-Version.pdfIf you have already had cavities or fillings in your teeth – or any tooth damage whatsoever – I suggest you follow the system exactly!!!Using the ACT rinse and everything EXACTLY as recommended! If you try something else, you will not achieve the same results. I have an entire chapter about fluoride in my book Kiss Your Dentist Goodbye. This chapter explains WHY you need to rinse with fluoride – but not drink it. I am against fluoride in the drinking water – but you NEED to rinse with it if you want to achieve the best results and have white, shiny teeth. Xylitol is what you use during the day.Try looking over this information – but feel free to ask other questions you may have.Best wishes,EllieDr.Ellie Phillips DDSSolutions for Oral Healthwww.DrEllie.comDr Ellie@drellie.com
