I am about to start your system, so I have purchased on-line the UK version of it ( I live in Spain). I was just checking the ingredients of the Retardex Toothpaste and it contains Sodium Bicarbonate. Then is it better not to use it?

Dear L:
I think it is better to use regular Crest or Colgate toothpaste – because these pastes contain silica and sodium fluoride.
The purpose of paste is to coat and protect your teeth before you rinse with Listerine.
You need silica and sodium fluoride for tooth protection.
Closys toothpaste is only a recommendation for people who will not use my entire system – people prone to gum disease who need something as simple as possible.
It is not my recommendation -because I do not think it offers enough protection when used as PART of my system.
We need something different from a paste that is part of my system -and I prefer Crest Cavity Protection or a plain Colgate is an acceptable substitute if that is all you have available.
