First, let me say how I have appreciated your last two conference calls through DFH about oral health and Xylitol. Quite enlightening and informational. I have started personally to use Xylitol products.
You wondered if Sinusitis was somehow related to yeast, fungus, candida, etc, in the mouth.
Mayo Clinic reports that most cases of Chronic Sinusitis is more related to fungal issues rather than bacterial causes. Therefore, your protocol is an ideal one to use for these cases.
I would really like to incorporate this in my practice. Please give me some guidance and send any information which may be applicable.
Thanks again for your willingness to share.
Thank you so much for your message and your interest in the oral health work I am doing.
I think any of the pure 100 percent xylitol products are good – and the companies out there today are all working hard to try and provide product in the marketplace. I am not surprised to find that sinus is a fungal infection in many cases. It makes perfect sense and would explain why xylitol is so useful for patients.
Here is a link to a page with some downloadable booklets and information that may help your patients.
My program is well worth trying – if only for a couple of weeks – just to see how a wonderfully clean mouth feels!
Scroll down the page and find the “cliff notes” of my book – these are good instructions and tell you a lot about my system of rinses – with pictures.
