Crest Question

Hi there,

Im kinda of confuse about which one is the right toothpaste, because there are two Crest regular paste; one that says anti-cavity and the other cavity protection.. Can you please clear to me which one is the right one to use with your system?.. Thanks.

JM
Dear JM

It is very confusing!
Maybe Crest want it that way!

There are lots of pictures to help with this – on my website drellie.com –

Scroll down to the downloadable booklets about the system.
Here is a link to the “cliff notes” of the book:

Hope this helps!

I noticed that this helpful booklet shows Crest Anti Cavity: http://www.drellie.com/pdfs/The-Kissing-System/Downloadable-Booklet.pdfBut that the Cliffs Note Version shows Crest Cavity Protection. Are these the same?

Thanks for posting this- I have been doing my best to follow your system for almost 4 months- I recently ran down the aisle to grab my regular paste and days later realized it was a different color. Even though your kit comes with the one I shrugged and figured regular paste is regular paste. Do you think it's ok to use the two small tubes we have of the white one and go back to blue later?

  • Dr. Ellie says:

Finding the correct paste is a real challenge. If you notice any changes in your oral health, tooth sensitivity or such – go out and find the right one immediately! When you find the correct one – use only a little at a time.A rice-grain size is sufficient for brushing – this way an 8.2oz tube should last a long time.Hurry to find the correct replacement – and start looking on the lower shelves in the stores!

Anonymous #1:I want YOU as my proof reader!!Both these simple pastes contain silica and sodium fluoride and appear to work .The Cavity Protection variety ( on the Cliff Notes) is my personal favorite- and the one we now include in our Complete Mouth Care Kits ( the booklet is from 5 or more years ago – I need to change this picture and description).I am almost 100% sure this Cavity Protection version is made in the US and is the original paste your grandmother used!Ellie
