Hello Dr. Ellie,

My child has EEC since he was 17 month, now he just turned 4….

The new bears – are they soft, hard? What % or xylitol in it? Made in US?

IS it possible to get samples?

Thanks so much,

Happy Holidays,

Dear M,

To keep a child’s teeth healthy – you have to keep fighting off the infection of cavities.

You and your family should all be on a xylitol program.

I recommend you put a teaspoon of granular xylitol into a cup or bottle of water and have this as a drink every morning.

This is something for the adults in the family ( parents, grandparents – everyone) – they should do this every day to clean saliva.

As you kiss or share food – you can pass cavity germs from one person to the other.

Regular xylitol will stop this from happening.

Your child can also have one or two additional xyltiol products during the day – especailly after meals, snacks or drinks.

Zellies Fruit Mints are nice and kids like them a lot – but the bears are softer.

The xylitol in the bears is from birch derived sources and is imported from Europe.

Hope this helps,

Best Wishes,
