Hey Dr. Ellie! My dentist found a “sticky” spot (the start of a cavity) on one of my molar teeth at my last visit 7 months ago and suggested I make an appointment to fill the cavity. Fortunately, no appointment was made upon my checkout. I discovered your protocols about a month later….
During my followup visit, the dental hygienist remarked that everything looked good. She then noticed the note in her files regarding the start of the cavity. While the dentist was later examining my mouth, she pointed out the notes regarding my tooth. He did an extra-careful check of the tooth and declared “She must have healed her own tooth!”
