Dear Dr. Ellie,
I’ve heard about your system and was able to read a bit of your blog lately. It sounds really good, but I don’t think it’s possible to buy the xylitol off your site (I think walgreens has all the mouthwashes?) because I won’t have access to the internet soon and regardless my parents are really paranoid of the internet. I do have a small budget for myself from part time jobs though so I was wondering if you could please recommend some stores that sell xylitol?
Thanks so much,
S
Hi S,
So happy that you’re interested in your oral health be aware that a healthy mouth is your passport to a healthy body, especially later in life.
Walgreens should provide you with all the other products you need I wish they had to xylitol but they don’t.
You can usually find a selection of xylitol products in a health food store .
Depending where you live, these are often small, hidden, but you should be able to discover them.
In some cities there are stores like Wholefoods etc. and they all have xylitol products gum and granular usually. Any 100 percent xylitol product will work!
Beware you’re not being duped by the companies that put a tiny bit of xylitol in their product with the main ingredient sorbitol! Sorbitol although it’s sugarles actually GROWS plaque bacteria and takes away the benefits of xylitol!
Thanks for your interest and make sure you let me know if you have any other questions,
Best wishes,
Ellie
