Hello! I recently (this week) came across your website. I’m not exactly sure how I found it but I am so glad I did!! I have been delving into it for the past few days and I am so excited about learning about the benefits of xylitol and also about your steps of achieving healthy teeth and gums.
I recently had purchased a fluoride rinse (prior to learning about your website) called Natural Dentist Healthy Teeth & Gums Anticavity Fluoride rinse with Xylitol. After finding your website and learning about the rinse you recommend and the importance of those products working in conjunction with each other, I am concerned about the rinse I have and wondering if it is not as beneficial.
Are you familiar with this Natural Dentist product? I would really appreciate your input on this. In case you are not familiar with it, I would like to give you the list of ingredients and I hope you don’t mind. The list isn’t too long!

Active ingredients are Sodium Flouride 0.05% (0.02% w/v flouride ion). Inactive ingredients: Purified water, vegetable glycerin, Aloe Vera Gel, Sodium Phosphate Monobasic, Xylitol, Natural Flavors, Olivamidopropyl Betaine (sourced from Olives) Citric Acid, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Menthol.
Today, I compared the active ingredient with Act Anticavity Rinse and they are the same but I am concerned about the inactive ingredients. Could the Citric Acid be counter productive in creating a more acidic mouth environment? Could any of the other ingredients be counter productive?
I want to get the optimum benefits from your recommended products but I’d like to understand the reason if this product would not be as beneficial. If you could share any thoughts on this, I would be very grateful.

Thanks so much for your message. I apologize for taking so long to reply I often find my inbox full of questions and not enough time to sort through them!
I am very happy to guide you along this pathway. I am familiar with many products in the marketplace and particularly with “natural health” products. This is interesting to me but I found my system because I paid attention to teeth and asked a lot of questions to patients: “what do you use…what do you eat…what do you drink etc.”
Over the years a pattern emerged clearly some products/foods/drinks were not beneficial and some were. I used my biochemistry interest to follow the research behind products and try to understand why they was good/bad. Once I discovered the “perfect” balance of products to help achieve oral health I did not stop.
I have continued to try and find products with less additives, less colors and less unnecessary ingredients. Natural Dentist seemed a good product line and I did contact the company and try the products. I think it would be a possible alternative but I cannot guarantee the results will be the same as the results from using ACT. I have recommended my system to thousands of people and I am totally confident that you will get results if you follow my system. Using other “ingredients’ will change the outcome and since I do not know the outcome it is hard to recommend.
My suggestion (if you want to try this product): try my system firs perhaps for two or three months so that you will see and feel the benefits. Then substitute the product you want to try for yourself. You should quickly feel the difference and know if this feel is better or not.
Recently, I tried a new product line that sounded great until I tried it. My teeth were immediately sensitive in a way that I know is different from the way my teeth normally feel. The use of the product I recommend will give teeth a kind of “protection” that you sense on your teeth like a protective layer. This is hard to describe to people who have not experienced this.
First your teeth feel clean but then they feel comfortable and protected. This is the unique feeling you want to achieve.
