Dear Dr. Ellie:
I was recently reading the ingredients on two different flavors of regular ACT Fluoride rinse. The “bubblegum blowout” flavor has benzyl alcohol listed first on the list of inactive ingredients. Benzyl alcohol was not on the list of the mint flavor. Both bottles said “alcohol free” on the front label. Could you please enlighten? Thank you.

Dear T,
Personally I prefer the mint flavor ACT and believe it superior (by a hair) to the other flavors.
The benzyl alcohol contained in the Cinnamon and the Bubblegum is a preservative and not does not classify as alcohol in the rinse.
(This was an answer I received from the company).
Hope this helps.
Very confusing!
Ellie
