Dear Dr. Ellie,
I hav been using your system for a week and have to say: I Love It!!!!! My teeth seem smoother and shiner, and a little whiter. However, I talked to a dentist about it (just a normal, family dentist), and she said that nothing I swish around in my mouth can do anything. She said if it were a paste, it would be a different story, but a little swish here and there won’t do dittly squat, and that I am wasting money. I, however, swear by its results, and am wondering what you have to say about it. Am I wasting my money? Can “swishing” actually do anything? Thank you very much.
SK
Dear SK,
I am sorry that it has taken me a while to reply to your message. I usually get fired up about Email questions but your question is impossible for me to answer.
I have invested so much time, my career and my money into teaching, giving away thousands of dollars worth of products and answering question after question because I totally believe in this system. You can buy the mouth rinses I suggest in your local grocery store (Walgreens, Target or Wal Mart). I have nothing to do with any of these companies so what do I have to gain? It would be different if I were selling you MY OWN brand of product!
I have to be careful not to get between a dentist and their patient it is not professional; so I cannot really answer your question.
I use my system, my kids use this system, my friends use this system and I think we have hundreds of testimonials scattered through the blog and the website: people who for years struggled with dental problems but found almost instant improvement by using a simple bunch of mouth rinses.
You will have to make your own decision.
I am happy that I am able to keep my teeth as white, healthy and strong as they are just by using this system for the past twenty years. I do not have plaque build up, have not needed any fillings since I was at dental school and have perfect dental health with teeth that are comfortable, shiny and white.
Those who have used my system for periods of time would concur.
What else can I say?
Ellie Phillips, DDS
