Zellies & CWT — For Seniors and those with Special Needs

Dear Dr Ellie,

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed getting your call and being educated yesterday. I am on the same page as far as being suspect or not fully educated by dentists. My dental insurance ended at age 65 and as I am pretty much on a fixed income, having to take crowns off and re-do the dental work is not a good and sometimes financially possible for myself and other seniors. I am very excited about the possibility of combating whatever this little cavity is that the Dentist said he would have to take my crown off to get to it, thus a NEW CROWN.

I hope my special need grandchildren can get on the program too and that it will make a difference with their dental requirements. I know that they could not slush and spit so any help in this area would be terrific. My grandson is soon to be 19 yrs old and is in a group home. He has a one-on-one staff person who would need to be educated as well and hope she/he will follow thru. It is a difficult situation, but hopefully made easier by xylitol.

Regards,
Carol

Hi C,
I am so glad to be of help to you.

Dental care is a lot easier than most people imagine.
It is really common sense.

First you have to forget everything you have been told and realize that you are fighting a disease (like any other medical bacterial disease). If you had an infection on your finger would you cut off your finger? No: you would use an anti-bacterial agent and then let nature fix and re-grow the tissue over the wound.

It is the same principle here.

The best news for teeth is that you don’t need antibiotics to kill harmful mouth bacteria.
The best weapon for this fight is natural and very simple: two teaspoons of xylitol each day!

We can build strength and repair the damage quicker by using ACT and the other mouth rinses but ridding the mouth of harmful bacteria is essential.

I will keep in touch with you and make sure you are on our mailing list for news and promotions!
Thanks for your interest and enjoy the package of Zellies when it arrives.

Take care,

Ellie Phillips, DDS

DR. Ellie,I found out last year that I have at least 14 teeth with cavitites and 6 of them need crowns.I have not been able to have any work done on them, and honestly, I am not sure when I will be able to. They hurt and I find myself clenching my teeth often, to the point my jaw hurts. What would be your advice to keep the decay at bay as long as possible? Can it be reversed? What can help with the clenching and jaw pain?Any advice would be worth gold to me! And I will keep reading on your blog to find out as much as I can! Thanks for all the info on this blog!

Hi Donna,Your answer is easy. Use the Complete Mouth Care System – EXACTLY as described. The biochemistry of the system will stop any more damage and possibly reverse some or possibly all of the new cavities – in about six to twelve months. I would recommend purchasing the Complete Mouth Care Kit – the first time – or at least downloading the brochure – It is vital that you have the correct products – toothpaste etc. EVERY item must be exact or the system will not work. Once you have the kit you can go to the store and match the products – Wal-Mart, CVS, Target it does not matter and most of them sell Closys, ACT and of course Listerine. The quantity of rinse you use is not important – just that you use it. Same with the toothpaste – feel free to economize with quantity of paste. If you have a favorite grocery store ask them if they will stock the products – maybe you can introduce the manager to the system. Most people are convinced after a day or two!If Zellies products are too expensive for you – you could just get a pound of xylitol and nibble it off a teaspoon at the end of meals or snacks. If you buy Listerine in bulk and the other ingredients of the system from your local stores I calculate it will cost you less than a dollar a day to keep your teeth pristine and healthy. What is that worth? Good luck,Ellie P.S. Remember to clean your toothbrush every day!

Dr. Ellie,First, Thank you so much for your response!!!!Question about xylitol, is it safe for people with ulcerative colitis?Second,as I’ve been reading your blog, I see you have interests in finding out what’s going on and what’s causing the problems. We moved about 6 or 7 years ago and since that move, my teeth have went bad. I have 6 children, and it seems their teeth have been affected, particularly the youngest, who was born right after our move. (caps and fillings by age 3-very embarassing, and I have worked so hard to prevent further decay but he is due up for another filling in just a few weeks)Also, what causes some children’s teeth to look ‘thin’, almost see-through?Our water smells very chlorinated, is it possible that it could have an effect on our teeth?Thank you again for your time!

The Bad NewsThere are lots of things that may cause teeth to thin – but most are related to acidity.Usually I like to sit and ask questions – about what you drink, acid reflux, dry mouth , medications etc.Your water does not sound very nice – I wonder if this makes the kids want to drink other things – like flavored waters or juices? These are acidic and will take minerals out of your teeth – even if they are healthy real juice juices! The Good News Zellies will help a lot and they will help you quickly.Eat some mints or gum all through the day – especially after meals and snacks.Use ACT rinse morning and night after brushing your teeth – and if you eat or drink anything during the night be sure to finish with some Zellies! Please make sure you sign up for our newsletter because I teach the best way to look after teeth.I would suggest starting with Crest toothpaste, a clean Zellies toothbrush and ACT for your morning and night time brushing.Snack on Zellies during the day. Your teeth should feel better in about a month. Please let me know how things go – YOU CAN PREVENT – and EVEN REVERSE CAVITIES with my Complete Mouth Care System if you use it regularly. Good luck,Elliewww.zellies.com
